Well this will surprise absolutely no-one.
Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner is sure to be a hit in the Premier League after seeing his side promoted to England’s top tier last season.
The charismatic German beat the odds by getting the Terriers in the Premier League, and he’s now set his sights on staying in the division.
But it probably will come of little shock to hear who he is backing to lift the trophy next season.
The Huddersfield boss has said Liverpool and best friend Jurgen Klopp are favourites for the crown next May.
The Reds have added Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke to their ranks this summer after finishing an impressive fourth last year.
And Wagner believes Klopp’s side have enough to land their first Premier League title.
When asked by German newspaper FAZ who he thinks will win the Premier League, Wagner simply said: “Liverpool.”
He also rejected the notion that the words would be music to Klopp’s ears, saying: “No, it will put the pressure on him!”
In the interview Wagner also claimed his Huddersfield side will finish 14th in the Premier League.
