Tottenham are reportedly monitoring Riyad Mahrez’s situation at Leicester City.
The winger has told Craig Shakespeare he wants to leave the King Power Stadium and that has bought interest from clubs around Europe.
Mauricio Pochettino has identified Mahrez as a target for Tottenham, according to The Evening Standard.

They have asked to be kept informed of the 26-year-old’s position with the Foxes.
However they will be unwilling to place a bid close to Leicester’s £50 million asking price.
They are not the only team to be kept at bay by the price tag.
Roma made an offer of £20.6 million for Mahrez which was raised to £27 million but that was rejected.
Arsenal have also enquired about the African players services.
Although Mahrez has clearly stated his wish to depart, Shakespeare has said he would like him to stay at the club.
His current teammate Andy King said he would get ‘dug out’ by the players if he doesn’t show maximum effort while he is still on the team.
But their minds were put at rest when he scored a dazzling equaliser for the Foxes against West Brom in Hong Kong on Wednesday.
Meanwhile Tottenham are yet to bring a new player into White Hart Lane this summer but they will only join the race for Mahrez if his price is substantially lowered.
