Remember Loic Remy?
We don’t blame you if you can’t.
The 30-year-old has been told he’s free to leave Chelsea and sign for a new club, prompting the same reaction from all football fans.
Nope, they weren’t wishing him the best, or thanking him for his services.
They were all just amazed that Remy still played for Chelsea.
To be fair, we can’t really blame them. We had to double check ourselves to make sure.
Remy moved to Chelsea in August 2014 but has never played more than 19 games in a Premier League season for The Blues.
He spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace but played just eight games in all competitions without scoring.
All of which is hardly the best advertisement as the France international looks for a new club.
If Remy does leave Chelsea, as expected, Antonio Conte will be left with minimal striking options.
Michy Batshuayi, who spent more time winning on Twitter than he did playing last season, and Diego Costa, who’s rumoured to be moving back to Atletico Madrid, will be Conte’s only strikers.
Anyone got Carlton Cole’s number?
