One of the most exciting signings of the Premier League transfer window so far proved just why there’s so much fuss about him with an exciting cameo on his debut.
Mohamed Salah scored and caught the eye on his Liverpool bow against Wigan on Friday evening.
Salah, who joined for £34m at the end of June from Roma, will be out to prove a point after failing to make an impression at Chelsea.
And he made a very decent start, capping an impressive 45 minutes with a goal right in the stroke of half time.
Philippe Coutinho won possession, found compatriot Roberto Firmino who unselfishly squared it for Salah to tap home.
It’s an exciting time for Liverpool fans, particularly with the injured Sadio Mane to come back into the fold.
We feel we might be seeing a lot more of this over the next few months…
