Training alongside Mesut Ozil must be, at times, a thankless task.
There is no doubting the German’s incredible ability with the ball at his feet, though Ozil often attracts criticism for being ‘lazy’ on the pitch and going missing in the big games.
He isn’t lazy, of course, as we revealed last season.

But clips like this one, released by Arsenal while most of us were fast asleep overnight, show just how good Ozil can be.
The Gunners are currently in Australia preparing for a couple of pre-season friendlies, and the German showed off his class by taking out basically the entire team with one through ball.

Devastatingly the Arsenal social media team decided they won’t show us what happens next, so we may never know – unless it’s on the next series of Question of Sport.
Also, they’ve gone out of their way to number just how many players he takes out, as if they hadn’t been humiliated enough, they’re now being picked out and reduced to mere numbers.
Anyway, we can’t stop watching it over and over again.
