It might come of little surprise that Lionel Messi ensured no-one left hungry at his wedding.
The Argentine showed off his compassionate side as he donated the leftovers from his lavish ceremony to charity.
The kind-hearted Barcelona superstar tied the knot with Antonella Roccuzzo in their hometown Rosario at the weekend.
And he made sure none of the food or booze went to waste, according to Rosario Food Bank director Pablo Algrain.
The charity boss said: “It all arrived to the store and we’re controlling it. We don’t yet know quite how much there is.”
“We explained to the wedding organisers that we can accept soft drinks and snacks, but that we’d have to change alcoholic drinks for money because we cannot accept them.”

Barcelona team-mates Neymar, Luis Suarez and Gerard Pique all turned up as well as Dani Alves, Sergio Aguero, Cesc Fabregas, Angel Di Maria, Xavi and Carles Puyol.
Local media dubbed the shindig the “Wedding of the Century”.
And the football elite parties into the early hours – sharing plenty of snaps on social media.
Messi is currently on honeymoon with his bride after signing a huge new contract with Barca.
And he will return looking to improve on a relatively poor campaign as Real Madrid scooped the league title and Catalans were dumped out of Europe early.
