That means fantasy football players need a little more urgency getting their teams submitted before the first ball is kicked.

But which players should you be considering in an eye-catching opening game?

ARSENAL

The big news at Arsenal, obviously, has been the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon this week for a club-record fee and is expected to make his debut against the Foxes.

What will Lacazette offer on Dream Team?

The France hitman signed for a reported £52m on Wednesday and will seriously bolster Arsene Wenger’s attacking options.

Alexis Sanchez was the highest points scorer on Dream Team last season with a mammoth 348 points, but his future remains very much in doubt with Manchester City lurking.

Mesut Ozil cannot be ignored and Aaron Ramsey‘s new role appeared to be liberate him towards the end of last season too.

LEICESTER

Former PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez has been heavily linked with Arsenal so could line up for either side in the opening fixture.

Jamie Vardy has a good scoring record against Arsenal, while the Foxes have brought in Harry Maguire from Hull this summer who also has an eye for goal.
