Mino Raiola’s one-man campaign to keep gossip columns in business continues.
In the wake of AC Milan goalkeeper Ginaluigi Donnarumma’s on/off transfer to Real Madrid it looked like Raiola could have poked one too many bees’ nests.
Donnarumma earned the nickname ‘Dollarumma’ amidst rumours he was ready to snub his boyhood club in an effort to force through a move to Spain.
The 18-year-old was showered with fake money ahead of a game for Italy’s Under-21s, which reportedly irked Donnarumma’s family.
This led to suggestions that Donnarumma was preparing to sack Raiola, and his cousin Enzo, and stay at Milan.
But the goalkeeper has now taken to Twitter to clear up any confusion.
He tweeted Raiola’s name with the words ‘Ieri, Oggi e Domani’ which, for anyone not fluent in Italian, means ‘Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow’.
That doesn’t sound like he’s in too much of a rush to ditch Raiola.
But, as is normally the case with these types of transfer sagas, there are plenty of intriguing twists still to come.
Donnarumma’s brother Antonio, who currently plays for Asteras Tripolis, is being eyed up for the number two role at Milan, according to Calcio Mercato.
So there could be a situation where Antonio ends up taking over from Gianluigi as Milan’s no.1.
Who said this transfer lark is boring?
