Arsene Wenger to stay on as Arsenal manager for two more years

The Frenchman has agreed terms on a new two-year contract to stay at Arsenal

Well we can finally put this hokey-cokey saga to bed.

It’s official – Arsene Wenger is going to stay on as Arsenal manager for another two years.

The Gunners boss has agreed the deal with the club’s owners, and it will all be rubber stamped tomorrow.

Contracts had already been drawn up as long as six months ago, with Wenger still firmly of the belief that he’s the best man for the job.

Who are we to argue with a man who’s won three Premier League titles, seven FA Cups and six Community Shields?

Hand it over, Arsene

While Wenger’s future still rests in the hands of Stan Kroenke and Ivan Gazidis, reports claim that he’s expected to sign the contract as long as his ‘authority remains unchallenged’.

An announcement will then be made on Wednesday or Thursday, confirming that Wenger is extending his 21-year period in charge of Arsenal.

So #Wexit is over, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the Wenger Out brigade will already be planning their stunts for next season.
