Anything Kylian Mbappe touches this season turns to gold.
But the goal that secures Monaco a first Ligue 1 title since 2000 could well be scored with a fleeting dash of red and white.
Monaco take on Saint-Etienne knowing a draw would secure the title and end PSG’s four-year monopoly as the rulers of French football.
Mbappe, who’ll be looking to add to the 23 goals he’s scored in his first full season of professional football, will be wearing limited edition boots to mark the occasion.
The 18-year-old will lace up a pair of NIKEiD x Monaco Hypervenom 3 boots, designed specifically to commemorate Les Rogues et Blancs’ season.
The boots feature a red and white colourway, mirroring Monaco’s home kit, and are finished with a ‘2017’ stamp by the heel.
As well as the Hypervenom 3 boots Nike have also released a pair of Tiempo VI NIKEiD x Monaco boots, to be worn by Danijel Subasic.
The Croatian goalkeeper joined Monaco when the club were still in Ligue 2, and has played a consistent role in their rise.
A Magista 2 NIKEid x Monaco boot will also be on display at the Stade Louis II on what should be a night of celebration in the French Principality.
