Joe Hart’s season in Italy is almost coming to an end.
And while the Manchester City goalkeeper has won over the hearts of the Torino fans, the club’s president is seemingly less than impressed from his summer acquisition.
According to Urbano Cairo, the Torino president, Hart has made more mistakes this season than he expected from an England No1.
He said: “Hart made a few mistakes, especially when coming out for the ball.
“He is an important goalkeeper. We probably didn’t expect so many mistakes from an England international, but he did some good things, too.”
Hart arrived in Turin on a season-long loan from City in the summer, but has struggled to adapt to the high standard of goalkeeping in Serie A.
His season has been a mixture of fine saves and strange incidents, including a howler against Inter Milan last month.
Hart is unlikely to remain in Italy next season, with plenty of Premier League clubs keen on snapping up the goalkeeper, including Liverpool and West Ham.
City boss Pep Guardiola is adamant that Hart’s time at the Etihad Stadium is finished, despite the club’s goalkeeping problems this season.
Both Claudio Bravo and Willy Caballero have faced criticism all season after a number of errors, with some City fans demanding Hart return to the side.
