Man United continued their slow but steady march to the Europa League final by beating Celta Vigo in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final tie.
But boy was it hard to watch.
United once again opted to bore their opposition into submission by creating only a handful of chances that interrupted an otherwise lukewarm affair.
The only player to provide any excitement was the brilliant Marcus Rashford, who was lively throughout the match and even grabbed the winner in scintillating style.
The 19-year-old broke the deadlock deep into the second-half by scoring a beautiful free-kick on the edge of the Celta box.
Take a look:
And Rashford was involved in probably the only other moment of real interest in the match, when he was taken off by manager Jose Mourinho with only 10 minutes remaining.
With the Red Devils’ leading the tie and full-time looming, the starlet didn’t exactly jog off with much haste as he was replaced by Anthony Martial.
Instead, he decided to take his time as he headed for the bench.
It certainly didn’t impress former Man City striker John Guidetti, who was clearly telling Rashford to get a move on.
And then former Liverpool forward Iago Aspas showed us all his brief spell at Anfield is still somewhere at the back of his mind by shoving the United striker out of frustration.
Temper temper, Iago.
