There’s a new-look Barcelona on the horizon.
The La Liga giant’s five-man summer wishlist includes Hector Bellerin, Gerard Deulofeu and Philippe Coutinho.
Barca hope Arsenal’s current woes will make it easier to nab La Masia product Bellerin.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo say Liverpool’s Coutinho is vying with Marco Verratti to replace the legendary Andres Iniesta in midfield.
Barcelona are likely to reveal boss Luis Enrique’s successor later this month, with Athletic Bilbao boss Ernesto Valverde the favourite among some bookies.
But the club have already decided the main men they want to invigorate their ageing squad.
22 year-old Bellerin may the answer to the club’s problems at right-back with Sergio Roberto expected to return to midfield next term.
And Theo Hernandez, a hit on loan for Alaves this season from Atletico Madrid, is reportedly wanted at left-back.
The France Under-20 international is also thought to be on the radar of Real Madrid, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
The 19-year-old has a release clause of £20.3million.
But the most intriguing talk is over central midfield, where 32-year-old Iniesta has notched up more than 400 appearances and played 117 games for Spain.
He is tipped to sign a new contract but Barca are also looking to the long-term.
PSG’S Italian anchorman Verratti is regarded as the prime candidate to succeed Iniesta.
Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu, now thriving on loan at AC Milan, has been named as Barcelona’s fifth target and also as the most certain arrival due to the buyback clause in his contract.
How much these five will cost remains a mystery but the club’s accountants will be sweating already.
