The O’s were relegated from the Football League for the first time in 112 years earlier this month.

Fans reportedly chanted: “Orient is ours! F*** off Bechetti! Orient is ours!”

Orient were losing 3-1 to Colchester before the fans took to the field.

Officials tried to calm fans and remove them off the pitch but their efforts failed.

After over an hour of stoppage officials called for the game to be abandoned with Orient fans showing to sign of giving in.

Or so we thought!

Once the stadium has emptied, the players came back out and completed the last five minutes.

The referee had sold everyone a dummy.

The game finished 3-1 behind closed doors.

A suitably dramatic and farcical end to Orient’s season at home.

You have to feel for their fans.
