Will Everton’s star striker be ‘auditioning for move’ back to Chelsea this weekend?

The Sun Football Podcast arrives once again as our man Wrighty gives his verdict on the North London derby and Toffees scorer Lukaku

IAN WRIGHT reckons Romelu Lukaku is auditioning for a move back to Chelsea with his goal-scoring form for Everton.

The former Blues striker has been in top form this term with 25 goals for the Toffees and the two sides face each other on Sunday.

But SunSport man Wrighty reckons Lukaku would be perfect for a move back to Stamford Bridge after coming of age on Merseyside.

Wright told the Sun Football Podcast: “I think Romelu Lukaku will be auditioning for a move back to Chelsea on Sunday. I get the impression that Costa will be leaving at the end of the season.

“The yen is screaming too loudly for him.

“Lukaku is setting himself up nicely to slip into that role. He’ll want to impress them and show them why he’s the Premier League’s top scorer.

“But I think Chelsea can still, even now, afford to lose this game with the ones they’ve got coming next.”

Wrighty also played his cards close to his chest on the North London derby.

Spurs are, of course, THE form team in the Premier League at the moment, after winning the last eight games on the bounce.

Wrighty added: “I think someone’s going to win it. You can’t call a North London derby. But they both NEED to win it, that’s what’s brilliant about it.”

And as always, we have Wrighty’s Dream Team Weekender seven-aside team.

Wrighty’s feeling confident with his side this week, with a strong line-up.

Southampton ‘keeper Fraser Forster is joined by Man City skipper Vincent Kompany and United’s Eric Bailly.

Chelsea’s form man Eden Hazard is joined by Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, while North London derby specialist Harry Kane is joined by Christian Benteke up front.
