Konami have announced the #StayHomeWithPES Tournament that will pit some of biggest names in football against each other in eFootball PES 2020, including Barcelona’s Antoine Griezmann and Juventus’ Miralem Pjanic.
Stars from 11 clubs will compete in the tournament, which will be broadcast on the official eFootball PES YouTube channel on Sunday April 26 from 5pm.
“I’m a huge PES fan,” said Pjanic about the tournament. “I’m excited to be part of this and play the game on such a stage. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Pjanic’s first match will be in the quarter finals against the winner of Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard and Schalke’s Nassim Boujellab.
Also competing in the quarter finals will be Inter Milan’s rising star, Sebastiano Esposito, with his first match against Man United midfielder Scott McTominay.
“I can’t wait to put my PES skills to the test against some of my favourite players,” said McTominay.
“I’ve got my eyes on a final against Antoine Griezmann. He might be a World Cup winner, but he won’t be ready for me!”
