Everyone who is anyone is waiting with bated breath on more news about the next generation of consoles.
The bad news?
We can be almost 100 percent certain that the PlayStation 5 will not be dropping in 2019 – due to the sheer number of PlayStation exclusives that have already been announced.
The announcement of a new console could have a serious effect on their sales.
Sony’s withdrawal from E3 this year also piqued interest amongst fans.
It could suggest a move away from announcements at the big shows, following in Nintendo’s footsteps by conveying information to the fans via their own social channels instead.
However, we have had one huge sneak peek into the future of gaming that was recently revealed at the ‘Inter BEE conference’ in Tokyo by Sony.
At the conference, Sony showcased their new Crystal LED Display System. CLEDIS boasts 120 FPS and 8K on a screen measuring 440 inches by running Gran Turismo in 8k…
Check it out.
Kazunori Yamauchi the creator of Gran Turismo reportedly said:
“It takes six months to create a single car. It’s over-specced for PS4 Pro. So we are building for future versions of the console rather than the one we see today. I think it would be no problem to run it at 8K even.”
We could be looking at the next generation of consoles right here.
What a time to be alive.
