The latest update will hopefully eliminate the issue of lag

One of the biggest concerns amongst fans on Reddit, Twitter and FIFA forums recently has been over the responsiveness and consistency of gameplay when playing online.

EA has heard the complaints and come up with the following changes:

In this week’s title update, we made a change that we believe will improve responsiveness during gameplay, in certain modes, for FIFA 19 players around the world. You can read the specific notes about the change below:
Made the following changes:

  • Some improvements to the responsiveness of gameplay in situations where your opponent’s network connection may be experiencing packet loss or high latency.
    • This change applies to the following game modes:
      • FUT Champions
      • FUT Division Rivals
      • FUT Online Draft
      • FIFA Pro Clubs
      • FIFA Co-Op Seasons

EA claim this should result in a much more consistent experience in gameplay responsiveness online, depending on the networking set-up you have.

This bodes well for fans of Ultimate Team

This is certainly promising considering it is very annoying losing out on a W when your opponent has a poor connection meaning you can’t play to the best of your ability.

We can’t wait to see this rolled out on consoles soon!
