FIFA 19: Hundreds demand EA Sport fix Career Mode after glitch ‘ruins the game’

To be fair this sounds incredibly annoying

Hundreds of gamers are tearing EA Sports to shreds for a Career Mode glitch that makes opposing teams rest all their key players.

During a campaign it’s perfectly normal for some teams to rest their biggest stars. However, many gamers are noticing this happens far too often – and the players replacing them are often fringe options that rarely play first-team football.

As a result, there’s no real challenge and winning is far too easy.

It’s caused such a stir that gamers are kicking off on the FIFA Sub-Reddit.

One wrote: ” I was winning 2-0, until United brought on Lukaku, Martial and Pogba – they then got it to 2-1, and could have equalised.

“My board objective is a top 4 finish, but the challenge of doing so is largely removed when top teams barely play their key players.

“I totally understand resting key players here and there, but it’s not even like they drop Pogba for Herrera, Lingard for Mata, and De Gea for Romero. Please fix this EA, it ruined career mode last year too.”

Another said: “Yeah it’s so sad that they can’t fix sh** that has plagued career mode for years.

“The gameplay this year is great for offline play…probably the best in at least 5-6 years.

“Who knows, it could be the best ever by the time I’m done with it. But there are so many stupid bugs with CM that never get touched.”

The Champions League was one of the biggest developments Career Mode has ever had. For years EA had been peddling a ‘budget’ version, the Champions Cup.

In FIFA 18 it was undisclosed whether or not players had a release clause when signing them – but this was fixed in FIFA 19

They also added Ultimate difficulty, meaning those of you looking for a step up from the legendary difficulty will get a chance to show off your skills and get some real practice in.

However, it seems there’s still plenty EA need to fix to ensure fans of the beloved mode are pleased.

Let’s hope EA sorts this out, pronto.
