FIFA 18 has only been out a couple of months but already the community is experimenting with it.
YouTuber xAcceptiion wanted to find out what happens if you try and score 1,000 goals in a game.
To give himself the best chance, he cranked up all the appropriate sliders – from sprint speed to shot accuracy – and set the matches to 20-minute halves.
Before long he’s netted 10 goals… a mere hundredth of what he’s targeting. Within 15 minutes on the clock, he’s netted 25.
And they just keep coming.

At half time, it’s 107-0. The keeper is having a day from hell. But it’s about to get a lot worse.
In the second half, EA’s game begins to buckle – with the on-screen score just revealing ’20’ instead of 200.
As time winds down, it becomes clear that the 1,000 goal target is some way off. Still, the match finishes an astonishing 244-0.
So, there you have it – if you try and score 1,000 goals, well, you won’t be able to.
Oh, and the game begins to break.
