Starting at 3pm on May 4, EA gradually revealed each member of the TOTS via their website and social media, with the first name revealed to be Man United goalkeeper David De Gea.

No complaints here.

EA SPORTS brilliantly gave fans across the country the power to reveal the FIFA 18 Premier League Team of the Season by hiding FUT items for each of the players across the UK in locations linked to the player’s team.

Fans could log onto the FIFA 18 website to view live streams in each of the secret locations, and if fans recognised the location then they could race down to the spot and become the first person to reveal the TOTS player to the world.

Like this fella.

Pretty cool, huh?

The full line-up was revealed at 6pm and looks like this.

As you can see, there’s a lot of Man City stars in the side, which isn’t particularly surprising considering their dominance this season.

Niclas Otamendi, Kyle Walker, Fernandinho, David Silva and the brilliant Kevin De Bruyne made the grade in the defence and midfield, and are joined by Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen of Spurs.

De Gea was between the sticks of course, but it’s the forward three we’re interested in.

PFA Player of the Year Salah is joined up front by Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero, making up a trio that would terrorise any defence.

But who missed out on the starting XI?

Burnley’s brilliant goalkeeper Nick Pope is joined by Man United stars Ashley Young, Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku, along with their cross-city rivals Raheem Sterling and Leory Sane from City.

Liverpool’s Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino join their club mate Salah, while the inclusion of Riyad Mahrez, Dele Alli and Son-Heung Min means this side is even deadly on the bench.

Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta is the only name in the squad from last season’s Premier League champions.
