PES: Can you get a red card for celebrating in Konami’s game?

YouTuber DTT decided to put it to the test, with interesting results

There’s no better feeling than scoring a goal – unless you get sent off for celebrating.

We all know that PES 2019 features the shirtless celebration for Neymar – who’s the only player on the game to be able to pull it off.

Doing this once results in a yellow card – but does repeating the move lead to a sending off?

YouTuber DTT decided to find out – with interesting results.

After netting the first goal with Neymar, you’re given the option to remove his shirt.

In doing so, you’re warned you’ll receive a yellow card.

However, when netting again, the shirtless celebration does not appear in the celebration options menu.

Now, although you’re not able to do the move more than once, based on this evidence, if Neymar already has a yellow card in the game – and then takes his shirt off – surely he’ll likely get a red?

DTT first made Neymar foul a player so he received a yellow.

He then scored and tried to perform the shirtless celebration.

Amazingly, the shirtless option disappears once again.

It may be a safeguard mechanism, in that if you score and then accidentally press the wrong button, Neymar would then be sent off.

Guess we’ll never know.
