FIFA 18: Ryan Sessegnon doesn’t even start himself on Ultimate Team

Despite wining a plethora of awards, the Fulham ace doesn't make his own starting line up

Ryan Sessegnon may be one of the most exciting prospects in English football, but when it comes to FIFA, it seems his feet are still firmly on the ground.

The Fulham winger has been incredible this season and recently scooped the Championship Player of the Season at the EFL Awards.

He was also named Young Player of the Season and Championship Apprentice of the Year.

However, if a recent Instagram post is anything to go by, he still doesn’t pick himself on Ultimate Team.

So modest, Ryan

The 17-year-old posted a pic showing his new upgraded Championship Player of the Year card, with the caption: ‘Supersub’.

The 87-rated card is pretty incredible, boasting 92 pace, 85 shooting, 86 passing and 88 dribbling.

Now, before we go and excuse the Fulham star of being too modest, it’s worth noting that every professional player who features on the game gets a 99-rated card.

That being said, you’re not able to have two versions of the same player on Ultimate Team – so he may well have benched himself for a more experienced defender.

In real life, Sessegnon has netted 14 goals in 43 league appearances for his side, who are third in the table.

Despite this, he was a silver card in standard form in last year’s game.

We have no doubt he’ll be among the players to get FIFA 19 upgrades in September.
