Toni Kroos isn’t happy with EA Sports.
Last month, despite being 90 rated, the German pleaded to the Vancouver-based developer for a FIFA 18 speed boost.
The Real Madrid midfielder, who has 50 pace in standard gold form, tweeted footage of him sprinting – claiming to EA that he deserved 85 pace.
Well, it seems as though EA listened and, in the latest Team of the Week, decided to give Kroos a pace upgrade – only it’s slightly lower than he would have hoped for.
Ouch – that brings Kroos’ speed rating to a shocking 51 – in what can only be described as one of the most pointless upgrades we’ve ever seen.
We doubt the German’s going to be too pleased with it, either, especially given that in Konami’s PES 2018, the 27-year-old boasts a far more impressive 72 pace.
Not that speed’s the only weapon Kroos has in his arsenal.
With 81 shooting and 88 passing, the Los Blancos ace is capable of unlocking most defences in EA’s game.
If he were to get a speed boost, he’d be almost unstoppable.
EA finally gave Yannick Bolasie the ability to pull off the El Tornado skill move – after the Everton winger bombarded them on Twitter.
The 27-year-old, who has spent much of last year injured, claimed the move was nothing more than his own Bolasie flick.
