Douglas Costa feels as though he deserves a ratings boost on FIFA 18 – and to be fair, he does have a point.
The Juventus winger scored a stunning half-volley in his side’s 2-0 victory against Torino in the Coppa Italia last night.
The Brazilian, on loan from Bayern Munich, volleyed home after the ball had ricocheted around the penalty area, before Mario Mandzukic netted the second.
Shortly after the match, Costa posted a picture of himself on Instagram – tagging the official FIFA 18 account, in the hope they’d take notice.
But, does he deserve a boost?
Some fans on Reddit believe he needs to score more goals for EA to take his case seriously.
The 27-year-old may be a force going forward, but he’s only netted three goals this season across all competitions.
Assists wise, he fares slightly better with four – but he’s only picked up one man of the match award this season.
It’s not the first time he’s struggled to find the back of then net, either.
Costa finished the 2016-2016 season with just seven goals in 43 matches for Bayern – probably why that IF card has proved so elusive.
The good news is that his base FUT card is already pretty impressive – and, at around the 2,000 coins mark, is seriously good value.
His shooting and passing are in the high 70s, but it’s his 92 pace and five-star skills that really catch the eye.
Should you want to splash out a bit more cash – Costa’s also got a OTW (Ones to Watch) card – which comes in at 53,000 coins.
IF or not, he could be a serious asset to any Ultimate Team.
