What team would win – 11 of Europe’s best players or 11 of America’s brightest stars?
Team Europe, playing as Real Madrid, includes the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Cristiano Ronaldo up front, with Kevin De Bruyne sitting just behind.
Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard are on the flanks, while Sergio Ramos and Giorgio Chiellini are on hand to protect Manuel Neuer.
The America side, playing as Newell’s Old Boys, features Luis Suarez and Gonzalo Higuain up front, with Paulo Dybala sitting behind.
Lionel Messi and Neymar make up a devastating wing combination, while Los Blancos shot-stopped Keylor Navas gets the nod in goal.
The YouTuber then simmed a match between the two.
It takes less than 10 minutes for Ronaldo to net for Europe – finding the bottom right hand corner with a deft strike.
It doesn’t take long for Newell’s to fight back, though, with Higuain linking up well with Suarez before hammering a shot past Neuer.
The Argentine does it again shortly after half-time to give Newell’s a 2-1 lead.
But Europe aren’t out of the race just yet – and mount a series of effective attacks, with Bale’s 59-minute effort just glancing wide of the post.
Arjen Robben, fresh off the bench, starts causing problems too – narrowly missing after a defensive mishap.
However, Navas keeps Newell’s in the game through a series of stunning body blocks.
The final whistle goes and Newell’s hang on to a 2-1 victory.
Unsurprisingly, it’s Higuain who picks up the man-of-the-match award – well deserved for his stunning brace.
Messi, bar a few moments of magic, had a quiet game while Casemiro’s input was minimal.
For Europe, Ronaldo was the best player – picking up a decent 8.0 rating, while Neuer did well between the sticks.
So, there you have it.
If Europe’s best players took on America’s stars, there’s a clear winner.
According to FIFA 18, anyway.
