A clip has made its way on to the FIFA reddit showing just how the bug can be exploited.
When you are at the corner of the goal – a tight angle – shoot instead of crossing it in.
The keeper will parry it into the net – rather than catching it or punching the ball away to safety.
It’s not the first time that the PES 2018 keepers have come under fire.
During the beta, goalies often spilled tame efforts, flapped at scuffed shots and punched away balls that were going well wide.
One keeper, who will remain nameless, decided to ‘look at the ball’ and dive around it frantically – as if he was dancing round a fire.
Konami has added an animation where the keeper ‘bounces’ the ball off his gloves before collecting it.
It’s a nice idea in theory but is still very erratic and prone to error – even in the full game.
Let’s hope they sort this issue out pronto.
