Lacking speed on the wings? Then you may want to give Guillermo Ochoa a run out.
Only there’s just one thing you should know… He plays in goal.
Yep, Ochoa was FIFA 17’s fastest goalkeeper – and boasted an astonishing 87 rating for speed.
This means the Mexican would thrash the likes of Angel di Maria and Henrikh Mkhitaryan (both rated at 86) and keep up the likes of Brazilian speedster, Dani Alves.
He’s so nippy that he gives the likes of Arjen Robben, who was rated at 88 for pace last year, a run for his money.
But all that has changed this year.
EA Sports has dished out, what is likely to be, the biggest downgrade in the series’ illustrious history.
Ochoa has dropped a massive 40 points to be rated at 47 speed in FIFA 18 – rendering him utterly useless as an outfield player.
Thankfully, his other stats have largely stayed the same – apart from the fact he now plays for Belgian club Standard Liège.
Spare a thought for Stevenage goalkeeper Chris Day – who with a speed rating of 11 – remains the slowest keeper on the game.
Best leave him between the sticks.
