EA Sports has finally caved and awarded Michy Batshuayi with a higher FIFA 18 rating… 99.
The Chelsea ace, who was upset with his FIFA 17 rating last year, kicked off on Twitter over his FIFA 18 scores.
Despite scoring a respectable 80, the Belgian felt as though he’d been hard done by and tweeted his dissatisfaction to EA.
Just as he hoped, EA Sports replied – although the answer probably wasn’t what the 23-year-old was looking for.
Savage, but thankfully Batshuayi did manage to see the funny side (we think).
However, the striker got back in touch after scoring a hatrick in the Blues’ 5-1 win over Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup.
To his delight, EA listened, and gave him a near-perfect 99 rated card as a result.
Sadly the card, which boasts 99 pace, 99 shooting and 95 passing won’t be available on Ultimate Team… but still, it’s pretty great.
