FIFA 18 fans have slammed EA over Thierry Henry’s ICONS rating – claiming it’s far too low.
The Frenchman was Arsenal’s all-time leading goalscorer – netting 228 goals in all competitions.
During his time at North London, he scooped two PFA Player’s Player of the Year awards and two Premier League titles.
However, despite a string of accolades, and the fact he’s regarded as one of the greatest players who has ever lived, EA awarded the striker a less-than-spectacular 90 rating in FIFA 18.
And fans are not happy about it.
It’s not known whether EA will increase his rating off the back of the fan response, but it wouldn’t be out of the question.
After the FIFA 18 cover announcement in June, little more has been revealed about the upcoming game – which is due to hit shelves on September 29.
EA is, however, planning a huge Ultimate Team showcase at this month’s Gamescom expo in Cologne.
“Ordinary we don’t announce much about Ultimate Team around this time because we’re in the run up to Gamescom – that’s our big FUT showcase,” EA producer Matt Prior said.
Gamescom is Europe’s largest gaming convention and takes place between August 22-26.
