FIFA 18 fans will be able to play with Brazilian striker Ronaldo.
The legendary striker, who starred for Real Madrid, Barcelona and Inter Milan, has been awarded a stunning 94 rating in FIFA 18 Ultimate Team – making him one of the best players in the game.
He possesses a lightning quick 93 for pace, a deadly 93 for shooting, 93 for dribbling and a rating of 80 for both passing and his physical ability.
But a closer look at the stats reveals something very interesting indeed – especially when compared with another ICON, 95-rated Diego Maradona.
Ronaldo’s attribute scores result in an average of 80.83 – 81 if rounded off to the nearest whole number. Maradona, meanwhile, has an average score of 80.16, which rounds down to 80.
Yet despite Ronaldo having ever-so-slightly higher scores, he’s rated as one point lower than the Argentine.
What’s going on there, EA?
After the FIFA 18 cover announcement in June, little more has been revealed about the upcoming game – which is due to hit shelves on September 29.
EA is, however, planning a huge Ultimate Team showcase at next month’s Gamescom expo in Cologne.
“Ordinary we don’t announce much about Ultimate Team around this time because we’re in the run up to Gamescom – that’s our big FUT showcase,” EA producer Matt Prior said.
Gamescom is Europe’s largest gaming convention and takes place between August 22-26.
