FIFA 18 may be some time away but that’s not stopping EA from releasing some more details about the gameplay.
In the latest FIFA 18 video, the publisher shows off the revised crossing mechanic – which looks and feels different to FIFA 17.
The key difference is down to the weight of the ball – allowing for more curl and precision.
Whipped crosses are now far easier to perform – whole there’s plenty more mid-end bend, making it easier for you to feed the ball in to the path of another player.
It’s also incredibly different to PES 2018 -which feels as though there isn’t as much mid-air curl when whipping the ball in.
Earlier in the week, Konami kicked off the PES 2018 online multiplayer beta for the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
It runs from 4 a.m. ET on Thursday, July 20 until midnight, July 30.
And the best part? It’s completely free – well for PS4 owners. Xbox users will need Xbox Live Gold.
Quickmatch and 3-vs.-3 online co-operative play will be available to play.
You’ll have the choice of the Brazilian or French national teams, playing at the Neu Sonne Arena.
You’ll also be able to play games in day or night and in good or rainy weather.
Be sure to check it out.
