FUTTIES has kicked off – and the FIFA 17 card everyone has been waiting for is finally here

No one could have prepared us for just how good Francesco Totti's final card is

FUTTIES has officially launched – which can only mean one thing – those incredible pink cards.

But it gets better.

There will also be special End of an Era Squad Building Challenges – with boosted Francesco Totti and Dirk Kuyt cards up for grabs.

Not only that but some of the biggest transfers so far will also get put in game today – including Alexandre Lacazette and Bernardo Silva.

Finally, the FUTTIES CB squad building challenge has launched – where you can choose between Chris Smalling, Eric Bailly and Samuel Umtiti.

So, what exactly are FUTTIES?

FUTTIES are special award in-form cards chosen by the community of FIFA players.

The players with the most amount of votes in a category will be awarded a special FUT card with upgraded stats.

The promotion lasts six weeks and will see 30 players get a pink card across 10 categories.

So, what are the categories? 

  • Brick Wall
  • Class is Permanent
  • Engine Room
  • Head First
  • Most Improved
  • One Club Man
  • Pot Shots
  • Skillers Delight
  • Get Stuck In
  • The Maestro
  • Two Footed

How can I get my hands on a pink card?

Firstly, you’re going to have to complete a FUTTIES Nomination SBC. By doing this, you will get a pink FUTTIES Nominee item with base stats of the player you voted for.

The player with the most completed Nomination SBCs will win each category.

The FUTTIES Winner item will then be made available with boosted stats. It’ll feature a gold trim to signify their accomplishment in a separate Winner SBC.

You then need to complete this to get the card.

The cards are untradeable, so you won’t be able to buy them from the market.

How much of a boost will players get?

According to fan website FIFAuteam. ratings and attributes of the FIFA 17 FUTTIES cards are usually boosted by ‘one or two points’, compared with their last TOTW/MOTM/iMOTM/Hero cards.

So when does it kick off?

It starts this Friday, July 7 and ends on August 18.

Is anything going to happen to the market?

FUTTIES are untradeable so they won’t affect the market.
