When Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque announced his team would use the 4-6-0 formation in Euro 2012, question marks were raised.
But why wouldn’t he use it?
After all, he simply wanted to tap Spain’s enormous potential provided by technically gifted midfielders.
It yielded some decent results – including a draw against Italy and a win against Croatia.
So, what would happen if you used that formation in FIFA 17?
YouTuber Rich Leigh used Career Mode to find out with Bayern Munich – and it’s safe to say it’s not something to try at home.
Despite a couple of early defeats in the Bundesliga, Bayern pick up a win in the Champions League.
It’s not until a few matches down the line that Bayern pick up their first half decent result – a 1-1 draw against Berlin.
Sadly, it’s back to losing ways, with a strong of defeats piling up – including a 0-1 loss against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
Despite everything’s that happened, he gets offered the Spain job – the country that arguably made this formation famous in the first place.
What are the chances?
Not only that, but France and Brazil job offers flood in, too – even though Bayern currently sit at bottom of the Bundesliga.
Just what is going on?
Sadly, the Bayern board’s patience soon runs out – and they terminate their manager’s contract.
Not that we’re surprised.
After 14 games, Bayern have won zero and lost 12 – their best results being two draws.
However, if you want the Spain job – or France and Brazil – then it seems they’re a fan of this ridiculous formation.
