When it comes to FIFA, we’re always talking about the best.
But what about the worst?
Believe it or not, you have to go back to FIFA 10 to find him. A card so utterly bizarre that we’ll never see that mix of attributes in the game again.
His name? Ian Baraclough.
Let’s take a closer look.
The former Scunthorpe United defender / midfielder has an atrociously bad “11” pace, making him much slower Arsenal’s Per Mertesacker.
In fact, in every attribute, Baraclough scores a meagre “11” – apart from one.
He is utterly devastating at shooting.
Bizarrely, EA gave him an 88 score – so he’d be perfect if you could actually get him in the box.
To put that into perspective, that’s better than Neymar, Eden Hazard Falcao in FIFA 17.
In fact, he has the same rating as Harry Kane, Antoine Griezmann and Paulo Dybala when it comes to shooting.
In real life, Baraclough had a lot more success – enjoying spells at the likes of Leicester City, Grimsby Town and Queens Park Rangers.
He now works as assistant manager at League One club Oldham Athletic.
So, it’s not all bad news.
