The greatest Spanish players in each edition of FIFA since 2010

We go through every FIFA from 2010 to find out the best Spaniard. Be warned, some cards are absolutely breathtaking.

Some incredible Spaniards have graced FIFA over the past few years – but which player was the best of the lot in each game?

Iniesta has been the top Spaniard numerous times while Villa only once

We go through every FIFA from 2010 to find out. Be warned, some cards are absolutely breathtaking.

FIFA 10 – David Villa

Overall rating: 93

Villa’s card made him one of the best attackers in the history of the game

Wow, what a card.

Villa was in his prime back then – playing for Valencia.

He boasted an incredible 90 pace combined with a lethal 89 dribbling and 95 shooting.

FIFA 11 – Xavi

Overall rating: 91

This was arguably the best Xavi card in the series – despite its 91 rating

A different player to Villa but equally as effective.

Boasted a near-perfect passing score and an incredible 97 for dribbling.

A pace score of 82 meant he could get around the pitch, too.

FIFA 12 – Xavi

Overall rating: 97

This 97-rated beast was not as good as Xavi’s last card

A higher rated card – but arguably not as good as his previous year.

Lost a lot of pace but retained his 99 passing score.

Shooting had a slight upgrade – meaning he was more effective in front of goal.

FIFA 13 – Andres Iniesta

Overall rating: 96

Iniesta makes his debut at the top with this stunning 96-rated card

Xavi’s partner in crime, Iniesta, finally becomes the best Spaniard on the game.

His top card, this 96-rated beast, boasted 99 passing and 97 dribbling.

Arguably, it’s still not as good as Xavi’s FIFA 11 card – but it’s not far off.

FIFA 14 – Xavi

Overall rating: 95

Xavi bounces back but doesn’t hit the highs of FIFA 11

Xavi bounces back but doesn’t hit the highs of FIFA 11

Xavi is back as the game’s top dog in FIFA 14 – with a stunning 95-rated card.

Passing has dipped to 97, while dribbling is up three points from FIFA 12.

He’s slightly quicker, too – but, again, he’s not a touch on his FIFA 11 card.

FIFA 15 – Andres Iniesta

Overall rating: 95

Iniesta is back with a bang but can’t quiet beat Xavi’s FIFA 11 stats

Iniesta reclaims the title from Xavi with a brilliant 95 top-rated card.

His 96-dribbling and 81 pace meant he could dodge and weave in-between crowded midfields, while his 97 passing made pulling the strings a breeze.

FIFA 16 – Andres Iniesta

Overall rating: 95

The best Iniesta card yet – just look at that combination of passing and dribbling

Iniesta is top dog again with a 95-rated card that’s arguably better than the year before.

He’s slightly quicker, more clinical in front of goal and his passing is up a point.

Outstanding.

FIFA 17 – Sergio Ramos

Ramos finally gets a shot at the top with this brilliant 96-rated monster

It’s a new entry for FIFA 17 with Sergio Ramos the highest-rated Spaniard.

The Real Madrid CB boasts 85 pace, 77 shooting and 86 passing – not to mention a 97 defence score.

Arguably one of the most balanced cards in FIFA history.
