N’Golo Kanté may be in blistering form for Chelsea right now, but on FIFA he hasn’t always been as brilliant.
We go through the 25-year-old’s career on EA Sports flagship footballer to see how he’s developed.
At this rate, he’ll be unstoppable on FIFA 18.
FIFA 15 and FIFA 16
The Frenchman’s first card was by no means outstanding – but he was still pretty useful.
His 74 pace and 70 dribbling made him a threat with the ball, but 63 shooting made him unreliable in front of goal.
By FIFA 15 his stats had improved. He was slightly quicker, while shooting, passing and dribbling also had a boost.
FIFA 17 and beyond
In FIFA 17, Kanté has been massively improved.
He’s seen his speed boosted to 80, while dribbling and passing gain a few points.
Perhaps the biggest improvement is his physical score – climbing from 69 to 83.
His real-life performances earned him a special card, which saw further improvements – building on his core attributes.
With 71 shooting and 81 dribbling, he’s now a real attacking threat.
Expect these stats to be improved come FIFA 18 of Kanté keeps up his form.
We’ve mocked up how his stats could look – if these increases are anything to go by.
Let’s hope Kanté gets the boost he deserves.
