Ever heard of Paulo Lopes? Thought not.
Poor old Paulo is the reserve goalkeeper for Benfica – sitting Julio Cesar in the pecking order.
And sadly, the 38-year-old struggles to get a game in FIFA 17 too.
One fan pointed out (using Futbin stats) that he’s only been used in 600 games on the Ps4, and around 300 on Xbox One.
Even Manchester United flop Marouane Fellaini has played more… substantially more in fact.
The Belgian has had 1,531,808 run outs on PS4 and 831,058 games on Xbox One, the data reveals. While Cristiano Ronaldo has played an enormous 6,019,393 games on PS4 and 3,476,274 on Xbox One.
We should add that the stats only take into account the FUT cards that are currently on the market, rather than existing members of a player’s squad.
However, given the stats that are available, poor Pablo looks as though he’s rock bottom.
So, why is he being snubbed?
Well, the 69-rated keeper isn’t actually that bad.
He’s got decent handling, rated at 75, while reflexes will do the job at 66. Positioning, too, is just one mark off 70.
He’s been so underused that some fans are calling for players to give him a run out.
Go on, we think he deserves a game.
