Man City are playing an incredible THREE times this Game Week — make sure you take full advantage

It’s time to toss aside your turkey sandwiches and that unopened Lynx Africa gift set, because your Dream Team is back on the agenda.

And while your mates are still recovering from all of the excitement of Christmas and, more importantly, the Boxing Day fixtures that dominated Game Week 17, we’ve got an almighty fantasy football hack that could see you pick up a whole host of points in Game Week 18.

Bah, Humbug!

Bah, Humbug!

You see, Man City play THREE times in the upcoming Game Week.

It all starts when Pep Guardiola’s side face Wolves on Friday December 27 before heading back to Manchester on the 29th to host Sheffield United.

Then, just three days later, the current champions entertain Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton.

The City boss is said to be tearing out whatever’s left of his hair over the scheduling and even wrote a letter to the Premier League to complain.

And while it’s particularly stressful for the Spaniard and his exhausted players, it could be great for your Dream Team.

Of course, the chances of having a Man City player or two in your lineup who plays in all three of their upcoming games is fairly unlikely.

After all, Pep likes to rotate his team at the best of the times, so there’s little chance he’ll force the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling to play back-to-back — but you can bet your life they’ll be involved in more than one game.

Many of us already ruled out City for the title this season with Liverpool running away with things at the very top of the table, but their statement victory over Leicester last time out will likely cool some of that recent criticism.

In actual fact, there’s a high chance City could close in on the Reds in the second half of the season, especially if they rotate key players now and nurse back the ones who are currently injured.

Goalkeeper Ederson will likely start all three of the GW18 games, but you don’t really score too many points with keepers so there isn’t much point making a change there.

City’s injury problems at the back has meant fantasy football favourite Nicolas Otamendi has enjoyed a run of games and has had a fruitful campaign so far; he might be worth taking a punt on ahead of the upcoming week.

And what about Riyad Mahrez? The Algerian has been a regular in the side this season and has netted five times in the Premier League so far, including against Leicester last time out.

Of course the usual favourites will all feature at least twice in the coming days, which means there’s a good chance of some mega points from the Sky Blues’ stars.

If you want to take full advantage of City’s busy upcoming Game Week or you just want to make some changes to your team ahead of GW18, then make sure you all of your transfers are done and dusted before kick-off between Wolves and Man City at 19:45 on Friday evening.
