It’s time to make sure your Dream Team is picked, primed and ready to go.
Remember, Liverpool get things underway against Norwich at 8pm tonight, so it’ll be best to get your team in before then.
In the meantime, perhaps we can point you in the direction of a player that is being ignored by virtually everyone at the moment…
What if I told you that there’s a defender who plays for a top six side in the Premier League, is (more-or-less) guaranteed a starting role in his side this season, and he’s reasonably priced on Dream Team ahead of the start of the new campaign?
We’re not talking about Liverpool’s Joe Gomez (although, he does fit the bill, and we implore you to consider picking the young centre-back).
No, we’re on about Chelsea full-back Emerson Palmieri.

The Italy international was perhaps one of the biggest winners of Chelsea’s 2018/19 season.
He unexpectedly displaced the waning Marcos Alonso, and featured prominently in the side that finished the season strongly – helping them secure Champions League football with a top four finish and win the Europa League.
In fact, Emerson played the full 90 minutes of their 4-1 win over Arsenal in Baku back in May.
Of course, Alonso is still very much a big part of the Blues line-up, but Spaniard had a pretty challenging 2018/19 season, with former coach Maurizio Sarri often rotating between him and Emerson at left-back.
But Emerson has impressed during pre-season – particularly in the 5-3 win over Red Bull Salzburg – often showcasing his athleticism and defensive competency, as well as his ability to support the attacking ranks by going forward.
Many Chelsea fans believe he’ll be the main man in the upcoming season.
So if that really is the case, then why is he currently only being picked 0.7% of Dream Team gaffers as we head into the new campaign?
To put that into perspective, more people have picked Arsenal new boy Kieran Tierney (2%), who had a double hernia operation in the summer and won’t actually be fit for action in the first few weeks of the season.
That’s madness, and we think you should be seriously considering the Italian for your side, especially as he starts out at a very reasonable £2.5m.
Give it some thought, yeah?
