All Dream Team gaffers have their wacky quirks.
Sometimes they only pick players with the same first name.
Sometimes it’s only left-footers.
But this commitment to the cause has caught our attention because we think it happens fairly regularly.
Liverpool players have starred on the game this season, with three Reds stars featuring in the top eight points scorers.
But Everton fan Kevin Ball couldn’t give a flying f***.
Kevin is currently top of his mini-league with 1880 points… and not a single one has been earned by a Liverpool player.
“I am a massive Everton fan and as a result of being loyal I will not allow myself to have any Liverpool players in my team,” he told us.
“I have always been anti-Liverpool – I’ve NEVER picked a Liverpool player.”
Now that’s a pledge.
Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Sadio Mane have all scored points relentlessly this season, but Kevin isn’t interested.
He added: “I don’t know any other Everton fan who does the same.
“My dad is a Toffee and is second behind me in our league but has always had Liverpool players.
“I rib him about it all the time. I don’t think I will ever change. No Liverpool players. Ever.”
Kevin admits his team currently contains just the one Everton representative after starting the season with ‘between three and five’.
Will his commitment to the cause cost him his mini-league title come the end of the season?
