We’re going to be honest with you: United’s upcoming fixtures look simply horrendous.

Don’t believe us? Let’s take a look.

  • Wolves (a)
  • Barcelona (h)
  • West Ham (h)
  • Barcelona (a)
  • Everton (a)
  • Man City (h)
  • Chelsea (h)

So it all begins with their trip to Wolves this evening before the start of their two-legged Champions League clash with Barcelona next week.

Then there’s their end-of-the-month matches against title-chasing Man City and top-four rivals Chelsea.

We don’t like the look of the trip to Everton much either, with the Toffees in pretty good form at the moment.

In fact, we can really only see their home game against West Ham on April 13 as their only less-than-tricky fixture this month.

So with a such a collection of difficult games coming up, we think it might be a good time for those of you with United defenders in your Dream Team to perhaps make a change or two.

After all, they’re going to be up against the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and Eden Hazard in their next few games.

Terrifying, don’t you think?

But as always, we want to end on a positive note because we still have relatively high hopes in United’s attacking talent.

After all, Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial have all netted 10 or more goals for United in the Premier League this season, and have all enjoyed good form with Ole at the wheel.

But they’ll all need to be at their very best over the next few weeks.
