When it rains it pours for Spurs.
Just as Heung-min Son leaves for the Asian Cup, talisman Harry Kane has been ruled out for the foreseeable future with ankle ligament damage.
Spurs took to Twitter to confirm the news, stating that their leading scorer would probably return to training in early March.
It’s a hammer blow for the north Londoners who are now engulfed in a proper injury crisis.
Kane suffered the injury after a clash with Phil Jones towards the end of their defeat to Man United on Sunday.
The 25-year-old has a history of ankle problems, missing 16 games in the last two seasons with similar issues.
Kane is the top scoring player on Dream Team this season with 208 points – leaving 51.7% of you with a decision to make this weekend.
