Okazaki has been a fine signing for Leicester

Okazaki has been a quiet revelation since his arrival from Mainz in 2015 – and has been a useful fantasy football asset too.

The Japanese striker has bagged six goals from just nine Premier League starts this season, whilst also notching two assists for his team-mates.

And two of those strikes against Southampton in midweek officially makes him our Dream Team of Game Week 15.

How has Okazaki got on this season on Dream Team?

  • 58 points – more than Paul Pogba, Pedro and Henrikh Mkhitaryan
  • Two goals and an assist against Southampton in midweek
  • Star Man award against the Saints too
  • 20 points in total in Game Week 14

Okazaki then doubled the advantage to make it 2-0 just after the half hour mark

Okazaki exemplifies Leicester’s upturn in fortunes ever since Claude Puel came in to replace Craig Shakespeare.

Only Manchester City are currently in better form than the Foxes, who have won four on the bounce since drawing at West Ham in late November.

And their 4-1 demolition job of the Saints was the most impressive of the lot.

Okazaki scored twice in the victory either side of half time and got himself an assist to earn a whopping 20 Dream Team points.

That also pocketed him that crucial Star Man award in the process.

Okazaki is currently priced at just £3.2m, so he’s far more cost effective than a lot of the other strikers available.

He’s also racked up more points than the likes of Paul Pogba, Pedro and Henrik Mkhitaryan.

So is it time to turn to Okazaki?
