Deary me.

Fantasy football tips: Premier League Game Week 12

1 Sadio Mane – injured (Dream Team points: 48, Picked by: 9.8%)

Sadio Mane is a major doubt for this weekend

Sadio Mane is a major doubt for this weekend

Just as we thought the Liverpool speedster was back to wreak havoc on the Premier League, he’s likely to miss out again.

Mane was sent home early from international duty with Senegal with a recurrence of a hamstring injury he suffered six weeks ago.

The Reds star had appeared raring to go again after staring with two assists on his return to the fold in that 4-1 win at West Ham two weeks ago.

But he’s rated at unlikely to feature against old club Southampton on Saturday, so it might not be worth the risk.

2 Nicolas Otamendi – suspended (Dream Team points: 92, Picked by: 11.3%)

Otamendi will miss the game with Leicester

Otamendi will miss the game with Leicester

Otamendi is a fantasy football dream, consistently racking up 7+ ratings.

In fact, the Argentine is the second highest scoring defender this season and only six players have more points overall.

But the Manchester City stalwart picked up his fifth booking of the season against Arsenal last time out so he will miss the clash with Leicester this weekend.

Over 10% of you have a decision to make – transfer him out or take the hit for a week?

3 Phil Jones – injured (Dream Team points: 66, Picked by: 6%)

Manchester United have suffered an injury scare after Phil Jones was forced out of the England squad

Jones hobbled off against Germany

You don’t get much more Phil Jones than getting injured heroically saving your country by clearing off the line.

The Manchester United defender was forced off during England’s friendly with Germany last week with a calf problem and hasn’t trained since.

Jones is confident he can shake off the knock to be back in time to face Newcastle this weekend, but Jose Mourinho doesn’t like taking chances.

The England man is currently rated at 75% to make it for the game at Old Trafford.

4 Jamal Lascelles – injured (Dream Team points: 37, Picked by: 1.8%)

Lascelles has a race to be fit to play Manchester United

Lascelles is one of the bargains of the season in a resolute Newcastle defence who have conceded just 10 goals all season so far.

But the Newcastle captain is a major doubt for the Magpies’ trip to Manchester United on Saturday evening.

Lascelles suffered an ankle injury in the defeat to Bournemouth before the international break and is chances of being fit are rated at 50%.

5 Paul Pogba – injured (Dream Team points: 25, Picked by: 15.4%)

We have not seen Pogba since September

Pogba has been missing since mid September – and don’t Manchester United know it.

The Frenchman has been a painfully obvious absence in Jose Mourinho’s side, with the Red Devils really struggling to score or create without their heartbeat.

Before that hamstring injury Pogba had racked up two goals and two assists in just four Premier League appearances.

He’s almost ready to return, but Newcastle might come too soon for him so it’s worth waiting another week before bringing him back.
