These are very dark days for Ronald Koeman.
The Everton manager is on thin ice after his Toffees side were swept aside by Arsenal to add to their torrid recent run of results.
It all started so well with Wayne Rooney scoring brilliantly almost 15 years to the day since he did exactly the same thing as a 16-year-old wonderkid.
But the joy didn’t last long as Nacho Monreal and then Mesut Ozil – who was brilliant throughout – turned the game on it’s head.
Idrissa Gueye was sent off for two bookable offences before Alexandre Lacazette and then Aaron Ramsey made it 3-1 and 4-1 respectively.
Oumar Niasse scored a pretty comical goal deep into injury time but there was even time for Alexis Sanchez to get on the scoresheet with practically the last kick of the game.
Arsenal needed to bounce back after that dreadful 2-1 defeat to Watford last week, but the real winner today was this Everton ball boy who pulled off the oldest trick in the book to con us all:
Well player young sir.
