Arsenal kept in touch with the early season Premier League pace-setters with a hard-fought 2-0 win over West Brom.
Alexandre Lacazette was the hero, becoming the first Gunners star to score in his first three home games since 1988.
The Frenchman displayed his predatory instincts by nodding in Alexis Sanchez’s parried free kick, but only after West Brom appeared to be denied a blatant penalty for a trip on Jay Rodriguez.
Lacazette then doubled their lead in the second half from the penalty spot after Aaron Ramsey was fouled.
Sanchez was making his first Premier League appearance of the season after a summer of uncertainty surrounding his future and played well, but one particularly moment infuriated Arsenal fans.
The Chilean picked the ball up and proceeded to start juggling with the ball for a couple of seconds before carelessly losing it.
All fine when you’re 3-0 or 4-0 up, Alexis, but this was when the scoreline was still 1-0.
It’s fair to say Arsenal fans weren’t happy at all with what they felt was ‘unprofessional behaviour’:
