The Manchester derby is one of the biggest and best fixtures of the season.
And eventually, it delivered.
The stalemate ended goalless, with all the action seemingly happening in the final 10 minutes.
Marouane Fellaini showed us all what a complete numpty he is, when the towering Belgian full-on headbutted Sergio Aguero during a coming together.
Not even Jose Mourinho could argue with that one.
In terms of chances, the best fell to the wonderful Gabriel Jesus.
The teenage sensation was making his comeback in this evening’s game, after suffering a metatarsal injury in February that threatened to cut his season short.
But the Brazilian was a late substitute for Pep Guardiola’s side, and he seemingly struck the winning goal during stoppage time – only for it to be ruled out for offside.
The only other meaningful chance fell to Aguero early in the first half, when he somehow managed to hit the post from mere yards out.
Meanwhile, Captain Calamity Claudio Bravo somehow managed to injure himself when innocently catching a routine a cross.
The Chilean goalkeeper managed to hurt his calf as he distributed the ball, and was stretchered off with Willy Caballero coming on in his place.
City fans will be jumping for joy, surely?
