Lee Satchell, an unofficial representative of Muslera, told the media how his client had been visited by Ramos at half-time in what was meant to be a ‘friendly catch-up’ between two acquaintances.
Mr Satchell said: “Fernando was greeted by Ramos at half-time, the pair go way back.
“Fernando was a bit surprised to see him there but thought nothing of it and was whisked away by Ramos for a quick chat in the tunnel.
“Ramos took my client away from the other players. Fernando then came back shortly after, complaining of dizziness.
“We consulted the team doctors who advised Fernando to miss the second half, but he wanted to play on.
“I firmly believe that my client suffered concussion and this was to blame for his mistake in the second half.
“Karius suffered at the hands of Ramos and now Fernando has too. Their friendship is over.”
