Sergio Ramos was spotted leaving Uruguay’s quarter-final clash with France shortly after Fernando Muslera clanger.

Lee Satchell, an unofficial representative of Muslera, told the media how his client had been visited by Ramos at half-time in what was meant to be a ‘friendly catch-up’ between two acquaintances.

Mr Satchell said: “Fernando was greeted by Ramos at half-time, the pair go way back.

“Fernando was a bit surprised to see him there but thought nothing of it and was whisked away by Ramos for a quick chat in the tunnel.

“Ramos took my client away from the other players. Fernando then came back shortly after, complaining of dizziness.
