Man United’s fax machine has suddenly broken again the same night Keylor Navas made a huge mistake for Real Madrid against Bayern Munich.
The machine famously turned faulty a few years ago when David Dea was on the brink of completing a move to the Spanish giants.
De Gea had spoken of his desire to return to Madrid but at the 11th hour there was a ‘technical glitch’ and the deal fell through.
And, strangely enough, the fax machine has started playing up again tonight after Navas – Real’s current goalkeeper – inexplicably let Joshua Kimmich beat him at his near post in their Champions League semi-final first leg.
United’s unofficial spokesperson Lee Satchell said: “Yeah the bloody thing is at it again, I promise.
“Ed Woodward probably spilt tea on it or something because it’s currently making it all kinds of weird noises.
“We can assure you no faxes go straight into our shredder either. Definitely not.
“Anyway that Navas guy is pretty good for Real Madrid, isn’t he? They won’t be needing a new goalkeeper any time soon, eh? Ha ha…”
We’re also hearing unconfirmed reports that David De Gea was last seen being smuggled into Jose Mourinho’s basement shortly after Navas’ error.
